We caught up with Anastasia Anastasopoulou, Product Manager this week to hear how she ended up in his current role, her advice for future Foods Connected recruits and more!
- What attracted you to your chosen career path?
I started my career as a software engineer and took various roles in the software industry, constantly learning and moving up before moving into product management. I have an entrepreneurial mindset and I find the product creation process very intriguing. I love talking to the customers, understanding their business needs, and searching for solutions that will excite them. I am very proud of the products I have released in the market so far, many of which had been great commercial successes and I feel proud every time I speak to a satisfied customer.
- What has been the proudest moment (or most accomplished moment!) of your time with Foods Connected so far?
I joined the company a few months ago to work on the development of its new Transportation Management Solution (THUB). It’s a greenfield project for Foods Connected focusing initially on the development of a Dock Door Appointment Scheduling application. We have already released our MVP to the customer and received excellent feedback for it, which was my greatest moment with Foods Connected so far.
- Tell us something not many people would guess about you.
I love travelling, and gardening and I worry about my plants when on long trips.
- What advice would you give those looking to kick start a career at Foods Connected?
Foods Connected is a company with a great culture. You will meet very knowledgeable people with real passion for what they do, and you will become a member of very collaborative community. There is a huge pipeline of interesting projects and many opportunities for development and career progression as the company grows fast, moving from success to success.
- What are you most looking forward to in the next year?
I look forward to launching THUB in the market and making it a commercial success and getting involved in other interesting projects as well.
