Meet The Team - Ravi SharmaThis week we met up with Ravi Sharma – Implementation Manager at Foods Connected to learn what attracted him to a career in Tech and his advice to future Foods Connected recruits!

  1. What attracted you to your chosen career path?

    I have always wanted to work in the software industry, so when I initially heard that Foods Connected were hiring I actively chased a position. Foods Connected is at the cutting edge of the industry and is really focused on making an impact - This coupled with the Food industry element of the business (Which is an extremely busy industry) provided the perfect combination to learn and grow in a fast paced environment. The software industry is very exciting with plenty of scope for opportunities.

  2. What has been the proudest moment of your time with Foods Connected so far?

    My proudest moment is making my very first sale for the company, since moving into Project Management I now take pride in implementing Foods Connected tools and solutions in a way that makes our customers jobs easier.

  3. Tell us something not many people would guess about you.

    I love metal detecting, looking for gold! I will find it some day.

  4. What advice would you give those looking to kick start a career at Foods Connected?
    Foods Connected is a very fast paced business. If you can show a genuine passion & interest in the role, put in the time and effort required to understand how the platform works, and it's benefits,  you will be in a good position to progress throughout the company.  

  5. What are you most looking forward to in the next year?

    My wife and I first baby is due in July, so looking forward to that and being dad.
